The psychological treatment process is guided by registered psychologist Fiona Scott with the intention to provide an environment allowing the individual to feel a sense of emotional and psychological peace and security.

Fiona Scott
Fiona is a registered psychologist and the owner/founder of Heal the Mind Psychology. She has completed both her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Psychology and further completed her postgraduate psychology master’s degree. She is a member of the AAPi (Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated) and she also has her credentials with the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), Fiona has over 10 years of both professional and academic experience in the mental health field, which includes working with individuals, in both low and high-risk settings, who present with various psychological disorders such as, anxiety-related disorders; depressive disorders; personality disorders; grief and loss; Trauma related disorders such as, PTSD; Eating Disorders and individuals who experience self-harming tendencies and suicidality due to, the complexities mental health illnesses can come with.
Fiona has worked in both Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO’s) and private practices.
Her aspirations are to provide individuals with hope, compassion and empathy to guide them through their mental health journey and allowing them to implement their new found skills and knowledge into their daily lives.

The answer is...no.
However, to reduce the full amount of the fee, you can obtain a 'Mental Health Care Plan', under the Better Access to Mental Health system, from your Doctor, (this allows up to 10 rebates each calendar year.). -
We understand life happens. If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment, we request that you give us 2 business days notice, if it is less than 24 hours notice 50% of the session fee will be charged.
